“FTL Series” Accompaniment CD Full Series!
The
2-disc set contains 28 hymns presented in the rich tradition of
African-American and other cultural styles that embodies and elevates the
heritage of Lutheran worship. Songs of praise and thanksgiving found in the
vast repertoire of the Christian hymnody are transformed using elements of
rhythm, timbre, and improvisation to create a soulful union of music expressive
of God’s word and refreshing to the spirit. Hymns included in the series cover
a multitude of seasons and special occasions throughout the church year.
A
Lyrics Booklet is also included and features a reference list of additional
hymns that can be sung using the music in the series.
